Publisher Tripwire Presents and developer Torn Banner Studios announce console
support for
Chivalry 2, saying it will come to the current generation as
well as the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. They also announce this
will include cross-play support for the multiplayer first-person slasher, which
was coincidentally first announced
one year ago
yesterday. Here's word:
The battlefield has just gotten bigger, and
knights of all platforms will be able to face off together on the same
battlefield, as Chivalry 2 will feature full Cross-Play capability between all
consoles and PC.
Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer first-person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie
battles. Players are thrust into the action of every iconic moment of the era
–from clashing swords, to storms of flaming arrows, sprawling castle sieges, and
more. Dominate massive battlefields while catapults tear the earth apart as
players lay siege to castles, set fire to villages, and slaughter filthy
peasants in the return of Team Objective maps.
