Out of the Blue

Frans continues his impressive work on the site as we roll out another new tweak today. This is another improvement to our Twitter account which we've changed a bit in recent times to increase its usefulness for followers. At one point this just posted most of our headlines, but was refined to show a more select group of stories and include some of the text. With the latest change we go hurtling headlong into the noughties with the addition of hashtags to our tweets. I know right? We're totally keeping up with the Kardashians on our way to dominating social media. Anyway, a big thank you to Frans for working this out, and here's hoping some of you find this enhancement useful. #socialmedia #hashtag #hashbrowns

I'm running at 1920x1200 and see this "issue". The composing screen is less than half the width of my screen.

Yup, just confirmed in Chrome and FF. Nice catch. KX or Frans, any comment?
This was changed on May 19 after Kxmode found a (potential) user interface problem with resizing horizontally. Perhaps he can elaborate?

MeanJim, what's usually the approximate width of your browser window?

Great movie.
Personally I think Arnie's character imagined the whole thing. There's a line by one of the doctors just before they put him under where she says "blue sky on Mars"
I love that they left unanswered if it was real or not

Seems like what she did lowers property values. I wonder if a liar lawyer lives in the neighborhood.

I kind of found it cute what she did, It is what happens when you mix it up with your next door neighbor you might not like what comes next.

Total Recall at 30- a thrilling reminder of Paul Verhoeven at his best.

Reminds me that it's probably time to watch Starship Troopers again. Do you want to know more?

Inception Pitch Meeting.

I have a much shorter version:

Chris Nolan: "Hi, it's Chris. I'm going to make another movie."
Studio: "Okay, here's $200M. Do whatever you like."
Chris: "Thanks."

Make This Moment a Turning Point - President Barack Obama

Once again a dad, husband, President and citizen makes a point that is beyond the comprehension of the orange stain currently squatting in the oval office.

I take issue with this. He's not squatting in the oval office, he's cowering in his bunker and threatening by tweet to release the hounds should anyone come onto the White House grounds.

Weird. If it could "spread" after amputation why wouldn't it have shown up elsewhere too? I mean it seems it had to be in the blood/body by the time they took of the finger based on what happened. Huh...

I'm going to have to eat my words about Netflix originals, they've been knocking it out of the park in the past year.

Agreed. I kept cancelling Netflix when I'd find that there wasn't really much I wanted to watch (as in 'mainstream' stuff like recent movies, shows from major networks, discovery channel, etc).

Now Netflix is part of the mainstream. They weren't kidding when they vowed to become a major production company. I've been watching a lot of their content lately.

The rainbow fence video reminds me I've submitted a clip about a trans women paiting her house rainbow in response to hate.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MQKjyjsEoA

It was never posted. A cat has been killed in this video because of a crazy man. Also at that time I've submitted it, the new emojis for trans people were just released.
