Cyberpunk 2077 Still on Track for September

CD PROJEKT RED offers financial results for fiscal Q1 2020 (thanks DSOGaming). Accompanied by a video (in Polish, but with English subtitles), they offer several mentions of Cyberpunk 2077 that should reassure us the RPG is on track for its planned September 17th release. CDPR also reconfirms their previously announced plan for a presentation called Night City Wire on June 11th to present further information about the release. Here's word on the state of the eagerly anticipated RPG:
CD PROJEKT RED is carrying out with the final stage of development of its most expansive RPG to-date: Cyberpunk 2077. The game features a vibrant, high-tech open world, where players assume the role of V – a cyberpunk who has recently migrated to the most dangerous metropolis of the future: Night City. Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay follows the rules of the Cyberpunk 2020 RPG system created by Mike Pondsmith.

Shit, I need to pick up the pace on finishing Witcher 3.

I gave up on this. Everytime I came back to finish it, I'd get sidetracked yet again by the other content. I just can't leave that ? alone. I _HAVE_ to see what it is. Oh, it's a mob that several levels higher and will take me 30 minutes to kill? Let's do this. Suddenly I'm burned out again.

I've finished the game at least three times, expansions included (the last time, I think I finally got the best outcome), and every time I try to avoid the side activities, I just get sucked into them. Best game ever made.

I finished my second complete playthrough probably 2 months ago it's been now? Took me a long time but I was more thorough on this playthrough than my first time around. I wanted to explore every bit I could which I think I ultimately did outside of all the little treasure drops of Skellige within the waters.

Honestly, with my second playthrough, it solidified my thoughts that it is the greatest game I ever played. I started gaming on NES and worked my way forward... I've played the Zeldas, Final Fantasys (well as many as I did, not all).

Nothing really compared with the experience. With that, I also feel I think I had the best ending on my 2nd playthrough which is crazy because I think there are 5 or 6? It was a relief because I heard the ending I got on my first play through is considered the worst of all, lol.

I've largely avoided looking at Witcher 3 resources online, but I'm almost to the point of 'cheating' to look up where to get the Gwent cards I'm missing, because I have been ALL OVER, and still don't have them all. Probably my biggest gripe with the game, Gwent stuff is so scattered randomly that you can't get all the cards for all sets in a timely fashion, not counting mods or guides.

I got down to two left before I finally looked it up... It's pretty shitty because the number of random cards you need is almost exactly the same as the number of random merchants who will play with you, so it's easy to miss at least one. I was so happy to find out they changed it for the expansion, making the random card collecting an actual quest with markers for all of the NPCs who hand them out.

Oh it's definitely a great game, and I love it, about 120? hours in so far, pretty much done with the main content and all the side missions I could find, plus fist fights, horse racing, and all the quest Gwent battles. I'm getting ready to go on to the expansions, just need to sit down and get back to it; I've been fiddling around with Division 2 still, waiting for the new patch in June, and playing a little bit of WH40K Martyr/Prophet.

I've largely avoided looking at Witcher 3 resources online, but I'm almost to the point of 'cheating' to look up where to get the Gwent cards I'm missing, because I have been ALL OVER, and still don't have them all. Other minor issue: I'm way overleveled now, it seems like the main game expects you to be level 26-30ish by the end, and I'm already like level 35, so I'm annihilating these Wild Hunt jokers every time I encounter them. Not too big of a deal, I am enjoying the story, but any combat difficulty is long gone.

Turn on level scaling. It makes it so all creatures are at LEAST your level when you fight them.

I seriously hope this lives up to the hype because it looks amazing.
Liberals are attacking Conservatives and pushing for a "Civil" war.
If Liberals wanted peace, there would be peace.
If the Conservatives wanted war, there wouldn't be any Liberals.

Red skull map markers are really useful for those. Mark them, piss off and level up 5 more times, then swing back around to knock some out. I've done my share of underpowered miniboss fighting, but the loot is never worth how much time you spend on it.

Thank god for some good news this year... until the riots take out server farms...

Server farms are always in rural areas due to space and cooling requirements, the protests are confined to cities. So no worries there.

We should go out an protest at one just to confuse people. 'Cyberpunk 2077 now!'

Actually, time to stop fiddling around with random ARPGs and finish a couple large sized games, just to free up SSD space for Cyberpunk.

Hah! I've been doing just that for the same reason. Finally finished the complete tour of AC Odyssey yesterday and that freed up 70 gigs or something. If I need to uninstall stuff for this when it launches I don't foresee a problem doing that. This is definitely priority number one for gaming this year.
