I do threads on it from time to time. But only on my Twitter feed now because I stopped writing blogs back in May 2019 once their financials revealed that they were in the Red several years in a row and got an investor bailout back in Summer 2018; and which they didn't disclose to backers until Dec 2018.

Though I do follow it from time to time, my interest has waned over time because, well, basically everything that I stated back in my first blog of July 2015, has come true. So all I'm doing now is just commenting on important events while waiting for the looming end game which appears to be in the long term rather than the short term because we should never underestimate the power of sunk cost fallacy - the only explanation for why in 2020 (if current funding keeps up) they would have received over 30% of their entire 8 yr rev - in one year. It's uncanny (assuming the funding chart is real).

The Duke Nukem Forever of this generation.

So after waiting I was number 12 in queue. Then the number shot back up to 24. Then the game crashed. Now I have to wait again. This is bullshit. All that money they are scamming out of people and can't afford more servers. Once again I reach the point where it's my turn and the game crashes. Scumbags.

Is that all you do? Fly free?

Pretty certain that's one of Chris' sons doing the VO work. They were like 5 when Chris was on Kickstater.

Yes it's nuts how large game install have become.
Modern Warfare is currently 186GB installed (and it seems every patch is at least 30GB)
Battlefield V 153GB
Rainbow Six Siege 110GB

On topic: I am one of the suckers that invested in this game and I don't even care about playing it anymore if it is ever finished. The last time I looked at a build of it the main thing was a first person shooter. It must be nice to have a big pile of someone else's money to just play around with.

Still valuing unused hard drive space over re-installing this game.

I installed CoD: Infinite Warfare recently: 90GB. And that's a 2016 game.

Textures, Dialog and Cutscenes.

So it seems there is a bug that when ya get to 9 or 10 in the que the game says "NOPE!" and just closes. Now attempting after a system reboot.

It's almost modest for a MMO/sim game (and an unfinished and unoptimized one to boot). Games like TESO or Destiny 2 are 90GB, GTA V/RDR 2 are well north of 100GB, Hitman 2 is 150GB, DCS World weighs in at 185GB, R6 Siege is 110GB, Anthem is just over 80GB. One game that I have installed that is exactly 70GB in size is Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
