Just remember you need to activate 2FA to grab a copy.
I wonder why they added that requirement for their freebies recently. /s
I mean it's easy enough to use the dots in a gmail, get multiple free emails, use a free email forwarder. So it's only a bottleneck for the most casual of resellers. If they really wanted to bottleneck it, forcing a phone number 2FA would have been more effective.

Not a bad idea. Plus, every copy is Epic subsidized, so you end up costing them lol.
Get free game - find a way to screw the company for the lolz and
I frankly don't care all that much. It was more amusing to me than anything else, hence the lol. I care more that with the past giveaways they've done, the indie studios don't get screwed when their game is given away free. But I know there's a lot of epic haters, so for them, that's a plus.
But yeah, that's a big part of modern society, screwing it to the man. Some people will even use that kinda thing as an excuse for stealing or fraudulent returns. "Oh they are so big, they will never even notice, and they are a big evil company and deserve it." Say it was walmart and you'd get tons of people taking any opportunity to screw them over for many reasons.
