AMD has long been the budget winner, or at least competitive. It's above budget they've struggled.
And still slightly do, but interestingly. They're slower for most games, only because they're focused on multiple threads, and games aren't yet. They're incredible technical achievements for almost everything but today's games. Maybe new consoles change that. If games shift soon, Intel loses all advantages.
