Out of the Blue

Today is the 50th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 13, the ill-fated moon mission disaster that was a "successful failure" after the safe return of astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise, and Jack Swigert following an explosion that crippled their spacecraft. I don't know how accurate the Ron Howard movie based on the incident is, but it's an incredible story that gives me chills every time I see it. I think I will mark the occasion by watching it again. I saw it too. But it seems to have been fixed.

The Chris Hadfield MasterClass.com lecture on space travel is really terrific. It's probably five hours of content and he covers everything.

I received a MasterClass subscription as a gift. I probably wouldn't have bought it on my own, but I think it might actually be worth the cost. Some great content on there.
