World War Z is a heart-pounding four-player cooperative third-person shooter featuring massive swarms of zombies that recklessly rush their living prey.
Focused on fast-paced gameplay -- and inspired by the incredibly popular Paramount Pictures property of the same name -- World War Z explores new storylines and characters from around the world in tense, overwhelming, gruesomely exciting missions crafted specifically for modern PCs.
A musical action-adventure set in the recesses of the human mind...
Welcome to the world of Figment. A strange and surreal world; a place filled with our deepest thoughts, urges and memories, populated by the many voices we hear in our heads.
Everything in Tormentor❌Punisher can be killed in one hit, including bosses and yourself. Bosses change the shape of the arena, conjuring rooms and traps to make it more hellish and brutal. Demons adjust to your play style and punish you accordingly. Explore and discover new ways of killing enemies to gain cool upgrades. Reload your machine gun by firing your shotgun. Yeah, you read that right.

Seems like a decent spiritual successor to Left4Dead.
Can't wait to see what this genre looks like for the next generation when instead of 100 zombies on-screen at a time they can do 10,000.
Fun always trumps realism, but at the same time I think I would really want to know just where are all these zombie people coming from? I mean sure, you can suspend realism, and sometimes you do find yourself in a city, but most zombie games take place in ruraltown, USA population 4-5k, tops.

Yeah, but how would you kill that many? L4D already pushed that ability to the limit.

Of course we're almost living in WWZ now, so, the irony is pretty tasty.

I've played quite a bit of WWZ. It's some fun co-op action. I think Zombie Army 4 is a bit better, but there is a bigger player base on WWZ. Both are worth picking up IMO, especially WWZ since it's free right now.

I've had TormentorXPunisher for awhile now on Steam; in some ways it's the refined, enriched essence of the perfect action game. Rage inducing, difficult, with responsive controls and good gameplay, and you can get your fill in like 20-30minutes.
I just installed World War Z, it has a pretty invasive EULA, with machine/IP specific data collection mentioned, just a fair warning. Not sure if I'll play it with that aggressive of a data collection method.
