Seems like a great game.
Too bad so few will be able to afford to splash out on hardware like this to be able play it.
Especially these days with so many being laid off.
The lines at Centerlink are staggering. (Centerlink is Australia's welfare provider)
You can get a WMR headset for three hundred or so. I own the Samsung Odyssey. Out of 100 games, only a couple looked funny, and one dev fixed his game to work after I emailed him. It's not cheap, but it's not $100. What with laptops, routers, and webcams flying off the shelves, it's obvious people have *some* money laying around.

From a hater of modern FPS's with their hand holding console annoyances to the overly bright color pallets to the constant platform jumping, I wonder if any FPS game from now on will hold back all the modern advancements in video cards and programming and make an FPS game that doesn't look as if you took too much niacin before going to sleep and having a wild dream side effect, lol. Time marches on so, I guess not. These new technologically enhanced games are obligated to saturate each frame as well make you go buy the latest video card. It's almost as if they are obligated to overdo it only because the latest "immersion" advancements allow for it. Doing anything less would underutilize what you pay $59.00 a game for and $375 every two years for the latest card. So be it, I guess.

Cool game, wasn't sure what people were talking about "warping" as there is no walking. Watched some Twitch - ugh. Feels like there is a better way to move around - that....is......ugh.....
There is a shooting game like Ghost Recon I had watched people play on Twitch that was a lot smoother and they "walked" around with one of the hand controllers.
Alyx has both options. Some people can't handle smooth movement in vr, and the warping can be a good compromise. You can even set up the controls to allow both - using continuous when you are more comfortable or the action is less intense, and teleport when you can't handle it.

Valve is back baby. I actually think Team Fortress or CS in VR would be pretty rad and something the platform needs.
