Black Mesa Officially Released

Black Mesa is now officially available on Steam, offering Crowbar Interactive's modernized remake of the original Half-Life for Windows and macOS. This ends an extraordinarily long development cycle and Early Access period. This post on Steam offers a Launch Trailer and the patch notes for version 1.0 of this first-person shooter. Here is the description of the game, because after all, they're waiting for Gordon... in the test chamber:

Man I finally got past On A Rail, when I first bought it there was a linux bug that meant you had to drop the graphics detail or it would crash on a new loading screen. Then it wouldn't even start for 9 months, and when it got back to working I was playing other games and every time I looked at it the save game didn't work, I think I ran the same bit about 6 times.

You can see its a 16 year old engine though, when I got out in the open it was chugging along but still looked pretty dated.
