that was a trash article, the guy kept comparing it to a XPS 13 but didn't list any specs

also yes windows 10 is pretty stable but look at all the bloat it comes with, candy crush etc plus all the telemetry..

The majority of my customers would be better served with a chromebook than the unstable bloat of windoze 10.

Yeah. Windows 10 has worked great for years on my gaming pc and surface pro. Sounds like FUD and wishful thinking.

The article seems to only focus on laptops so the title should be:
Windows 10 is falling apart on laptops

I haven't had any issues on my HEDT with Win10 but then again unlike some laptops, I am not beholden to the laptop manufacturer to build/tweak drivers for my machine to work properly. After looking over the article I'd say his issues probably have more to do with DELL than Win 10.

Installed Win 10 on the 18 Jul 2018.
It has been rock friggin' solid the whole time.
I have suffered NONE of the many issues described in the articles here.
The only issues I have had have been the fault of bad hardware so, not Win 10's fault.

First off, I only installed Win10 reluctantly because CoffeeLake didn't have drivers for Win7. I HATED Win 10 when I tried a few times to install it ( and always had to rollback due to DPC latency and other issues ) on my old i5-750, probably drivers related issues, old hardware, no more support, you know the drill.

I installed it in december 2017 on my new CoffeeLake system. Never had any issues with it.

Even more striking, I'm used to reinstalling WinXP and Win7 at least once a year because of OS breaking issues related to the time since last format/install. So I should've reinstalled Win 10 at least 2 times now. Yet, here I am, still running my original installation with zero issues.

Win10 has been a perfectly fine OS for me, even better than 7 and XP. And as I write this, I'm as baffled as you are.

This advertorial brought to you by Google. Do people like this just not know how to use PCs? I have zero problem with Win10.

But if you go with the Pixel GO you can have an almost $700 locked down laptop that is effectively broken whenever you don't have good wifi!

My understanding is that it was the Chromebook that is falling apart...;)
