Sorry, I must have missed the part where Valve sponsored this giveaway. See, it's one of the many useful features of the Steam client, that developers can set their own game to be freely available for a set time and users don't have to go through check-out to claim it. There are probably dozens of free games available at any time, all requiring no oversight or direct input from the store operators. Seems pretty random as to which ones end up being reported here.

The plot of the game is highly toxic? The developer wrote that about their own game? Is it a selling point that the game adheres to gender stereotypes? Or is that a Chinese colloquialism that doesn't translate well into English?

Indeed well said Prez. And since when did anyone care about clearly marked foreign language games? I didn't realize that guy was a closet racist but a lot of his trashcan posting makes sense now. How dare Steam be more inclusive to offerings from other cultures, those monsters! Save us Tim!
