Bleszinski tweets some information about an Aliens shooter that was a
possible Boss Key Productions project when his studio was still in operation. Cliff has
been talking a lot about games lately, so perhaps he is still feeling the itch
that's lead to a couple of recent
comments suggesting he's open to
returning to the game industry. Here are the tweets about discussions of an
Aliens game where you would play as Newt, presumably to mostly come out at
night, mostly:
Funfact: Before BKP shut down we were in talks to do a new game in the Aliens franchise with Fox.

There is. It makes the Alien actually bugger off to other parts of the map randomly. Playing at the middle difficulty (forgot what it was labeled) still had it hanging around near me enough, but it did feel way more fair.

Maybe a good Alien shooter comes from it? Also I always hated how they killed off Newt like that ~.~ and that said I would legit want a pre-Alien game, Ie, colony life on an Alien world, RPG style, with the end arc being the Alien outbreak playing as Newt. But not a shooter...

I can -accept- Alien 3 as actually having happened (the workprint version). Mainly because Alien 4 came out and it made 3 look like a masterpiece in comparison.
