VG247 has a tidbit from Activision's earnings conference call, as the
publisher says that a new premium Call of Duty game is already in
internal testing for release in Q4 of this year. They quote president and COO
Coddy Johnson saying: "And then, of course, in Q4 of this year, a new premium
Call of Duty release, which is already generating excitement in our play tests."
They also note that while the company would usually mention the developer at
this point, they are playing this close to the vest. They note the generic
reference to this made later in the call by CFO Dennis Durkin: "We can’t wait to
unveil what our teams have been working on, and we feel great about the
content."
