After noting BioWare is celebrating its 25th
anniversary this year, I see we failed to note that Saturday was
id
Software's 29th anniversary. So happy belated birthday to id, its founders,
and its current staff. Thank you for all the great games and for being the
inspiration for this website.

There must be modern games that allow these things. Insurgency: Sandstorm? Squad? Arma 3?

RTCW was actually mostly Gray Matter and Nerve Damage, said to be overseen by id.

Even thought they are not exactly the same company either , I would at least raise a glass to id's Birthday before ever congratulating Bioware in their current state.
