I made the mistake of watching Shannon and Skip on the Super Bowl pre-game special today. Skip Bayless has left me dumbfounded by making the argument that Dak Prescott is a better QB than Patrick Mahomes. He argued this for a good 15 minutes.

Brownie? Yeah, it's Blackie. What's the line? Nine? Faffle's got it eight and a half. Fuck it, I'm going the other way. Yeah. And put me down for a dime.
Icewind wrote on Feb 2, 2020, 13:21:Yeah, I understand the idea of wanting spirited debate to have an entertaining show, but Bayless is often ridiclous in his opinions. His shameless promotion of Dallas is obnoxious at best. And this is from someone who has been a Dallas fan since 1972. Another example of bad sports TV is Tony Kornheiser on Pardon the Interruption. A guy who makes me feel like I am a Millennial. I've watched the show for years and for the last decade have been hoping for the heart attack / stroke which would force him into retirement, but it hasn't happened yet unfortunately.

Happy Groundhog Day! Happily Punxsutawney Phil has predicted an early spring this year.Spring started in November here. Winter where I live usually tends to be mild and short, but we usually have a week or two of brutal low temps tossed at us. Winter isn't over yet, so there's still time I guess. It has been the warmest and wettest winter I can remember. Temps have been 50-70°F and lots and lots of rain. We've only had a hand full of days where it dipped into the 40's or lower. For all of December and half of January I didn't see the sun because it was raining or overcast.

Confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the United States Map
