Well it looks like I was wrong about Picard being bad. The episodes have been okay so far. I really do hope that the show can stay good. It's really difficult to hold out hope after seeing the the horrible ST:D though.
I haven't seen episode 2 yet, looking forward to it.
And I'll never watch another episode of the seth macfarlane shit trek show. omfg, whose phucking idea was that Knife

Star Trek is dead and CBS is the one that killed it with Discovery and Picard. Nothing is sacred anymore it seems.

I thought the JJ Abrams Trek movies killed Star Trek? And before that, Enterprise killed it? And before that, Voyager killed it?
IMHO, I don't think either Voyager or Enterprise killed it. I liked both of them. Now, the second movie in the reboot... yeah -- total fuckup. They cleverly made a clean break by with the original story by destroying Vulcan, which opened them up to do something new and exciting. Instead they sold out and did Khan. I was SO FREAKING bummed.

Yep. I'd like to watch both, but I'll be damned if I give more money to CBS to do it. They already get money from me via my Dish TV account.

It feels as if there's so much Star Trek that if you dislike one of the series, film or otherwise, you can ignore it and lose nothing.

Don't use social media at all. I did have an FB account for a few years before I deleted it. Never used Shitter or any of that other stuff. Social media is bad for you. It's bad for everyone.

Um, you don’t have to be on twitter or follow it but since it is the only way a dottering orange shart can communicate it has become inescapable. The dummkopf lies with it, fires people with it, insults whole countries and people with it, quotes racists and white supremacists with it and starts wars with it.

I'm all for them fixing Quantum Leap's shitty ending, but couldn't they have done this years ago when Dean Stockwell was in good enough health to act?
