The rating has nothing to with sales positions. It based on how many people play the core game. For that, All Reviews stand at 109,810. The people who take time to rate and post a review is typically about 5-10% of the total number of people who bought. Though, I don't know the precise amount of those who have the game installed and play. So you can imagine there are several million who purchased the core game. That's translated into potentially a couple hundred thousand who bought either version of Iceborne.

I'm seeing 'Mixed' for Iceborne, though most or all of the negative reviews are referencing technical issues rather than the game itself. Unfortunate for those having issues, but consider the ratio of that 2-3 thousand against those who are happily playing (currently 120k simultaneously at an off-peak time of day).
