With the nomination phase of the 2019 Steam Awards complete, Valve is going to reveal the nominees for one category per day over the next week, culminating with the list of Game of the Year nominees one week from today. Community voting will then begin on December 19th, and they will unveil the winners on New Year's Eve. This page has today's list, which covers Outstanding Visual Style along with a video offering a glimpse of said outstanding visuals. Here's the list of nominees in this category:

These devs are the Willy Wonka of eye candy. Visual style doesn't aspire to real-world graphical fidelity (though a noble goal in itself)… it describes a distinctive look and feel that suffuses an entire game. This game displays visual cohesion and expression that not only fit the game's world, but make our world look paltry by comparison.

I haven't really seen or played the others , but the 1st Subnautica was really a surprise,, I enjoyed it alot , so I went with Sub: Below zero for this.

The underwater life was outstanding in the visuals department....
