Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Getting 3v3 and 1v1 Gunfights

A tweet from Joe Cecot has word from the co-design director at Infinity Ward that a recent rumor of an overhaul coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was "a fake statement to get attention" and that they "are constantly updating the game at least once a week, sometimes twice." Joe also posted to Reddit on how rough it can be dealing with the game's online community: "It can be rough. Id prefer less PMs about my children dying horrible deaths" (thanks MP1ST). To end on a less negative note, Charlie INTEL points to another recent tweet from Cecot confirming that 3v3 and 1v1 versions of the game's gunfight mode are in the offing, though he does not specify when. Finally, also Charlie INTEL also rounds up a few videos showing off gameplay from new Ground War map called Port that's coming to the military shooter.

Whew, finally some even smaller gameplay maps... ...that literally no one is asking for.

But seriously, you guys worked on this for 3 years & obviously put most of the money into mocap & actors - because you shouldn't have launched with the suspicious netcode & TTK issues , not to mention with the well documented camera/ view problems. Computer

haha! My thoughts excactly. The maps are tiny as it is. I never have understood the appeal of the whole small map thing.
