As has been mentioned, the length of time that Valve has allowed the Half-Life universe to remain dormant - abandoned, really - my excitement over this is a fraction of what it would have been years ago. That said, I'm very interested see if Valve can return to being industry pioneers as they once were years ago. This *could* be amazing. I'd like to see if Valve's still got it.

That's the thing. It's been so long you just forget and don't care at this point.
I'm sure this is going to be the groundbreaking title VR needs to take it to another level. Perhaps to let people know you can get a AAA gaming experience in VR. With that said, due to my living space, I just don't care about VR and have no desire to get into it at this time.
I wonder if they'll allow this to be played both ways. VR and the good ole fashion, stare at my monitor like I am right now and game on it.
