A galaxy-spanning adventure awaits in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a new third-person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. This narratively driven, single-player game puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the purge of Order 66 following the events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. On a quest to rebuild the Jedi Order, you must pick up the pieces of your shattered past to complete your training, develop new powerful Force abilities and master the art of the iconic lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.
While mastering your abilities, players will engage in cinematically charged lightsaber and Force combat designed to deliver the kind of intense Star Wars lightsaber battles as seen in the films. Players will need to approach enemies strategically, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your Jedi training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path.
Star Wars fans will recognize iconic locations, weapons, gear and enemies while also meeting a roster of fresh characters, locations, creatures, droids and adversaries new to Star Wars. As part of this authentic Star Wars story, fans will delve into a galaxy recently seized by the Empire. As a Jedi hero-turned-fugitive, players will need to fight for survival while exploring the mysteries of a long-extinct civilization all in an effort to rebuild the remnants of the Jedi Order as the Empire seeks to erase the Jedi completely.

Is it just me or does it seem ironic that in a game where you can only play a guy they have a girl selling the game in a commercial.

About three hours in and I'm still on the first planet. I'm pretty sure this is not a 12 hour game. The trajectory looks more like 20-30 hour.

Even if I were interested, it would be a no buy for these reasons:
3rd-party DRM:
* Denuvo
* EA on-line activation and Origin client software installation and background use required.
* Requires 3rd-Party Account: EA Account (Supports Linking to Steam Account)
Understandable if you haven't made that leap previously. For me, Origin isn't a big issue, as I have Origin Access, and save a ton of money on games monthly that way.
One correction, though. The game doesn't us Denuvo DRM. At least, I have not been able to find any references to it on the Origin page, on the Steam Page, or doing searches on the internet.

Darks I know you were playing Rune II and liking it, still good or should I avoid for now?
How can a 12 hour game be $60 in the lords year 2019?
Quality, not quantity. I'm totally happy paying $60 for a 12 hour game if its fun and a cool experience.
I want to agree with you, but honestly I feel the goal posts have moved over the years with such saturation. 12 hour game to me means the next day I'm done with it, I would look back and say pretty much no matter what unless it is simply a landmark game (this isn't, is it?) and say A. I should have got a month of Access instead for $15 and then have 28 more days to possibly pay something else. 2. Wait for a deep sale and enjoy it then, it will be better patched and $20 for two days is more palatable.
If we go back 10-15 years I think what you say is more viable.
Well, if you consider the latest COD was only around 5 or 6 hours. Then I guess this is a good deal. The new Terminator game that came out two days ago is also right at 10 hours. Seems to be the norm anymore.

Do you feel this game has a lot of replayablity? If not, why not just rent for $15?

Your money man. I'm just saying $60 is totally fine with me if its a really fun 12 hour game. Not everything needs to be some marathon, people have other shit to do. And sometimes I don't want to wait because the internet manages to find a way to spoil everything, some games lose their MP communities quickly and so on. It's still less than the cost of a night out with friends anyway, not like its some insane ripoff. Games are a pretty good bang for buck in terms of entertainment at all price points.

COD is more of a PVP game now though, isn't it? Is this Star Wars game going be a big PVP game?
The latest COD game is apparently a shitshow in PvP. Echoing loud footsteps and overpowered individual guns have basically turned the map into a Camping Carl festival.
