China has already kicked off its 6G research.

Yeah, well, the USA has started on 8G research.

There'd be no consoles either if you had focused on PC gaming too. Another place you dropped the ball.
There were consoles before there was a Microsoft, Cutter.

I mean... I guess it depends on what you call a console. MS was incorporated in April 1975. While there were home game devices from 72-75, they were pretty much all the "one game" variety.

The consoles with the swap-able cartridges didn't come until a few years later, and those are really what we think of as "consoles."

Many many consoles. Nintendo dropped the ball which gave birth to Sony.

Atari dropped the ball.

Is that intel surface piece paid advertising?

Okay, Bill.
Also Bill Gates: "You'd all be on Bing today, not Google, but I screwed up."

The problem with Bill's logic is that unlike Google, which made Android open source and thus adopted by everyone, MS would have tried to sell its OS. That would have limited its reach, and they still would have lost to Android. MS didn't have the come to Jesus moment with open source until after Android proved open source could thrive.

That said, my wife had a Windows phone, and it was awesome. The mobile windows OS is actually really cool.
