It turns out I was premature in my farewell to the duckies the other day. Though only four of my fine feathered friends showed up Saturday morning, we had a full house the few days since then. So while they remain in the vicinity for now, it seems safe to assume they will depart for warmer climes shortly, as it's now October, and the onset of autumn is pretty noticeable around here at this point.

Glad somebody is getting Autumn temps. Predicted to set an all time high here later this week. They are predicting highs in the 80's next week. Beats the 90's I guess.
