Assassin's Creed Odyssey September Content Releases

Ubisoft has details on new content for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, saying the Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece is available today as a free update for all owners of the stealthy action/adventure. They also say The Myrmidon Character Pack will be released on September 27th, and that this month will also see the release of Sokrates' Trial, a Lost Tale of Greece episodic story that's also free to all owners. They also use the opportunity to mention a recent update to the game's Story Creator Mode. Here's a September Monthly Update Video and here's the news:
In Discovery Tour, players are invited to explore the world of Ancient Greece without conflicts and gameplay constraints of the main game. They are free to roam Ancient Greece at their own pace in this educational mode, which includes multiple locations along with guided tours at a plethora of historical sites.

  • Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece features 5 Tour Guides - Aspasia, Barnabas, Markos, Herodotos, and Leonidas.
  • Visitors can interact with more than 300 stations and 30 guided tours scattered across 29 regions.
  • Tours cover 5 different themes (philosophy, famous cities, daily life, war, and myths). Players will be able to test their knowledge with a quiz after the completion of each guided tour.
  • Exploration is encouraged with 35 unique avatars and 15 mounts, accessible by progressing through Discovery Tour objectives.

Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece was curated by historians and classical experts and will be accessible for free from the Assassinís Creed Odyssey main menu of the game starting September 10th.

The Myrmidon Character Pack, containing a gear set, a mount, and a spear.
This new pack will be available from September 27th in the store and at the Oikos of the Olympians.

September will see the release of an all-new Lost Tale of Greece episodic story, Sokratesí Trial. Players will have to help their old friend Sokrates who has been arrested and is awaiting trial, by discovering who is truly behind the arrest. The episode is free to all Assassinís Creed Odyssey players. To access all the Lost Tales of Greece episodes, players will need to reach Chapter 5 in the main path of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

This month, Story Creator Mode had new features and fixes.
In the first update, which arrived on September 5th, a kill starter was added to allow creators to start a quest by eliminating a set target.
Moreover, the dialogue editor was also improved to include a notification when the number of sequences used has reached a certain limit.

Yeah, A Very Bad Day made me Lol hard. I loved the Egyptian tour and did the whole thing. I'll definitely be doing this one too.

Using a steering wheel on a Burnout game is like using the Space Shuttle controls to fly a kite.

Iím still playing through the Atlantis expansion, which is surprisingly meaty, especially compared to the disappointingly short and dull First Sword DLC. These free quests can be a lot of fun. One called A Very Very Bad Day is quite possibly the best Quest chain in the entire game; a hilarious, snowballing disaster that involves some of the dumbest NPCs ever conceived. Reminded me of the Gnome/Goblin quest chains in WoW.

While I think I liked Origins a bit better, Odysseyís been a fun way to burn away the time between filling out job applications.
