Falcon Age is now available on the
Epic Games Store, offering a Windows first-person action/adventure where you
play as a falcon hunter who raises a falcon from a baby. This includes virtual
reality support, and there's also a version for PlayStation 4. Here's what to
expect from this:
Bond with a baby falcon and go on an adventure. Falcon Age is a first-person, single-player action adventure where you’ll play as Ara in her fight to reclaim her cultural legacy in the lost art of falcon hunting against a force of automated colonizers. The game starts on a dying colony planet with its culture destroyed, resourced depleted, and turned into a desert by machine invaders. Ara’s been wrongfully thrown in jail for a minor infraction. While she awaits her fate in a lonely cell, she passes the time by befriending a young falcon. Together they escape and set off on an adventure to help the resistance reclaim their freedom and drive off the invaders.

Now personally I am not impartial to raising a flacon from a baby as long as the baby is non-alcoholic.

Human flacons give that extra scent that you'd swear is citric.
Dammit, that's twice today I thought a game was something else. Here I was all pumped this was Falcon 5.0 and Spectrum Holobyte had been resurrected. I'm still waiting on my A-10 and Apache expansions for Falcon 3.0, you know!

Came to say the same thing (well, that and also make fun of flacons, like everyone else). The old Spectrum Holobyte / Microprose sims were the best...
