Same here. W2 just didn't work for me - I could not connect to the game. And I say this as a Fallout1/2/Tactics veteran. Something felt off to me with this game.

Same. I just found it very meh overall.

For me it was the brutal difficulty. With W1, back on the C64, wipeouts were almost to be expected. ("Oh! 'Deathclaws' are really powerful.") I guess Fallout 3, NV, and 4 have made me soft. I struggled so much with the lack of skill points and ammo, and finally just moved on to other games. When the Director's Cut was released, I started a fresh game, determined to optimize my play style with what I had learned before. My VERY FIRST random encounter leaving the base wiped me in 1 round. I hung it up after that. I was a $100 backer of that game, but I'm done with this. You win, InExile.

This would be a great game for Team Epic to partner with and add to their shiny new storefront.

I watched the gameplay video on reddit yesterday for this and was pleasantly surprised. It looks like they made big strides from W2 and I'm pretty stoked for this now.

Hopefully big strides. I couldn’t even get halfway through W2 being bored to death.

Anyone know if this is coming to Steam? Will be highly pissed if it doesn't.

Never mind, just found it on Steam. So glad, this new one has Coop. that should be a lot of fun.

I...still have to finish Wasteland 2...

Me too. Got to the big city in the second act, did a few quests and just went UGH and stopped.

It didn't help that I was still playing in the days when the enemies were bugged and could literally run from one end of the map to the other, thereby making all my ranged snipers essentially obsolete, and that the fact that though I had everyone on useful skills at level 7 to 8, the second you got to act 2, all skills checks went up to like 13 - 15 in difficulty, making all those skills pointless unless I pumped a ton more points into them.

That said, it was a really cool RPG in the first act, and had some really cool exploration and questlines.

I'm quite excited for 3.

It drags in a few spots but it's still pretty good. This one looks way more refined, the graphical overhaul looks outstanding and a big improvement overall. I loved the flow of exploration to the combat map they did in the recent gameplay trailer. Really gave me X-Com 2 vibes.

Really looking forward to this. Wasteland 2 was a lot of fun; I finished it even with the just after release bugginess. I've been meaning to go through a run with the Director's Cut or whatever enhanced version that's out now, but that's way down the queue.

Looking forward to getting Wasteland 3 on Gog.

Same, I bought it a while ago and it keeps getting pushed down by whatever shiny thing pops up in my backlog.
