He's like the Ewe Boll of video game developers. Just seems so out of touch...
Hey, man. Lawbreakers was teh awesome.
"In LawBreakers, players take on the roles of specialized fighters who inhabit low gravity arenas. Competing against Blizzard’s Overwatch, the game failed to attract a sustainable audience. Although it lacks the charm and polish of Overwatch, it is a tightly designed shooting game with well balanced units."
sourceHe entered FPS MOBA too late.
I think Cliff could benefit from two things:
1. ORIGINALITY. Find an original idea. The latest example of this is the MOBA-Chess like hybrids of TFT and DOTA Underlords. It was there all this time. But someone thought, "Hey, what if we take MOBA and mix it with something like Chess." It's not my thing, but there is a market for it.
2. LET THE WORK SPEAK FOR ITSELF. Meaning, gather talent on a small scale, create a fun prototype, find a buyer or an investor, and then flesh it out, launch. If it finds an audience, Cliff is back. If not, no big deal.
