Used to be a C programmer, but find Python to be far better. I still won't do any Java though, worst programming language ever. I find plenty of work doing Python.

I code in C#, never learned Python. My son swears by it though. Says C is too fiddly with all of its semicolons and curly braces and such.

The land in Minecraft is flat, Minecraft simulates the Earth, ergo the Earth is flat.

Python is great. I just can't wait until v2.x is put out of its misery.

If I was going to push for a language though, I would probably go with Rust, specifically because it (in theory) will avoid that exact type of deprecation / splintering with Cargo.

Who doesn't love programming in Python. As a back-end web developer I fought hard to get my company to switch over to it in the mid 90's, though these days most of the platforms we work on use Javascript, PHP or RoR. I'll always prefer Python for my own personal projects.
