The joke is on you. Built a new system and got the AMD 5700 card for $300, that is $100 less than the Nvidia's overpriced 2060 Super for basically the exact same performance. Oh and the card is NOT noisy whatsoever.

Or you are hard of hearing. It's a blower mate, you aren't fooling anyone with this fanboy wank.

Sure, 26 reviews all saying the same thing vs your subjective perception..

Cracks me up that anyone thinks they can do ray tracing on a 2060 or 2070. I guess if you want to turn your system into a turtle, you can do it.

Huh? I do it on my admittedly very old rig with a 2060, both in Metro Exodus and BF5. To be honest, I find it hard to see the difference and the performance hit is really not worth it but it's there if I wanted it. And it's very playable when enabled, just have to disable some other stuff in the meantime. For Metro especially, both Advanced PhysX and Tessellation offer serious performance increases when turned off. Though, with PhysX turned off, enemy NPC's have a knack for falling through the floor when shot from below. *shrugs*

Just put an old Nvidia card in to run physx. I think you can go as far back as the 500 series. Itís what I did for Arkham Knight, the physx stuff was super cool and had zero framerate issues.

did anyone notice the complete irony in the drivers ..?

Nivida announces these new drivers are optimal for Division 2 & boost performance.
- then in the actual pdf notes; they clearly state that the Division 2 still crashes on these drivers in DX12 .

OK, ...so now the game optimally crashes ???

you can't even make this shit up, at this point.

Wow, nvidia seems to have issues with that game engine/series in dx12. I seem to remember they had dx12 issues for months last year in Division1.

Meh, Warhammer 2 DX12 is for 1 year now in "beta" and crashes randomly. And we are talking shaders not working, loading taking 5x as long etc.

So there are certainly more than a few games with DX12 issues.

The new AMD procs can't run Div 2 either.

That's why I play Anthem.

As usual, wait for the custom cards. Price wise I'm not seeing any real big reason to go with the super cards unless you want rtx or prefer nvidia for the games you play.

One word: PhysX. LOVE IT.

Not if you're an AMD fanboi, and change the metric used to measure performance from frames per second to power consumption, or cost per frame.
