The E3 2019 trailer
for Minecraft Dungeons offers a look at gameplay from this upcoming outside the
box dungeon-crawler set in the Minecraft universe. This was
announced for release next year, but this trailer narrows that window to
spring 2020.

What happened with Telltale is shitty and sucks, but almost definitely not something Microsoft could have done anything about, just like Robert Zemeckis can't do much about the Back to the Future license, and AMC can't about The Walking Dead.
Oh I'm sure it has something to do with the game having Minecraft in the name. None of TellTale's other games are being completely removed the way Minecraft Story mode is.

Agreed. This is "Diab-Craft." Looks like a lot of fun.
One thing I didn't see was any building...
Just hooked up my Steam Torchlight 2 with my GoG TL2 on the laptop, so we're about to start some multiplayer ARPG goodness in the Dreyer household. Can't wait.

I don't know, I am not a Minecraft player, but I would be pretty skeptical about giving that franchise more money at this point.
Because of what happened with the Telltale game? But this isn't Telltale, it's a core product from the actual Minecraft team. What happened with Telltale is shitty and sucks, but almost definitely not something Microsoft could have done anything about, just like Robert Zemeckis can't do much about the Back to the Future license, and AMC can't about The Walking Dead.
