Only if you assume the only benefit is reduced prices. Which, for some reason, many people do think that's the only possible benefit. Probably because it's the easiest to see. Doesn't mean other benefits won't show up.
More revenue for devs means fewer devs going out of business, and more games. That sounds good to me.
And yes, I understand that C-execs take a lot of that, but there's still more there to prevent shops from going bankrupt.
