Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition Revealed

A new ESRB rating reveals that an Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is apparently in the works, listing Windows PC as the target platform and showing this will be rated T (thanks DSOGaming). The original version of this RTS sequel was first released in 1999, and it seems safe to assume that this version will incorporate technical improvements, but these are not listed, nor is an official release date. The description they provide basically covers the original game and why the board feels it's ill-suited for pre-teens:
This is a real-time strategy game in which players control empires from the Dark Age through the Imperial Age. From an overhead perspective, players complete campaigns, build structures, gather resources, and command/deploy military units (e.g., infantry, horsemen, war elephants) against nearby civilizations. Players can zoom in on military units, while they use swords, bows, and cannons to eliminate enemy forces and structures; battles are accompanied by weapon clashes, cries of pain, and explosions. Some battlefields depict impaled soldiers on spikes, and a handful of cutscenes depict images of soldiers impaled by arrows. One still-image sequence shows a large bloodstain on the ground along with blood splatter on parchment. The word “bastard” is heard in the game.

Bill Gates still has some 60B dollars that he can't give away quick enough, and he still doesn't lend some pocket lint as to give 50M to a startup studio to make AOE4, why does he have no heart?

edit: who is this relic entertainment, and why haven't they been shut down yet for going AWOL with this project?
