These games are timeless, even moreso now with the hired packs. If you like shooters, you can't go wrong. Even more fun in coop.

I never played these games. I wonder if it's worth it to get into now that this released. The Borderlands 2 is always on sale for like 5 bucks, lol.
I just tried borderlands 1 old vs new and it feels like a different game for the better imo, it plays more like borderlands 2 now, graphics are sharper, UI scales better, game feels more fluid. It is 12 GB-ish so no huge download, you can import your save files from the old version if you want.
I have yet to try the BL2 HD version, will get to it soon.

You get the HD pack from the dlc list. It's free. Just go to the games main page in the store(steam) and look for the dlc HD pack. The pre-sequel download HD size currently is 7.3GB. Borderlands 2 HD pack is 7.9GB. I don't have all the dlc so it may be more for others.

Friend of mine (don't remember what card) had the rendering of 'water' and such completely flip out of PhysX was on. Didn't kill framerate just rendering went bonkers.
