Come to think of it wouldn't that mean aliens control the weather??? Anxious

Not sure if this is a failure of our education system or species, but it's sad there can't be an open communication platform without a bunch of idiots spouting their bat-shit crazy ideas and an unfortunate number of people swallowing it hook, line and sinker. And while YouTube just burying the stupid sounds good, I don't particularly like the idea of YouTube deciding what is truth and factual. If it were to work like their copyright system then it'd be ripe for abuse.

Log out of Google, clear your cookies/cache, and go to Youtube. Find one video that you are interest in, don't watch but read the algorithm 'next video' list. Click one of the shocking ones, then click another shocking one. Voila, you are now most likely on a conspiracy video.

Google pushes this shit HARD. It's the core of their business to push this on people, kids, whomever. To say it's the education systems fault is akin to saying lack of education causes gambling addiction. (Yes, it is a factor, but regulation is ultimately what keeps the entire world from looking like a fucking casino floor)

Google/Facebook have completely focused conspiracy and outrage on what generates clicks for them. They will not stop this on there own, count on that.

They have a real conspiracy to worry about: our arch enemy conspired to throw the election for Trump. Thing is, there's a conspiracy theory that the Russian conspiracy is made up.

Keen timing, but just last night while surfing Daily Mail comments on various stories, I came across one involving just this issue, i.e. Flat Earther/Earth Centrist types and their intellect levels, and this comment floated by -

"You can't reason with someone that didn't use reason to come to their conclusions."

scary people who don't look like me? what are my choices? talk to them face to face like a human being, overcoming one's own fears? nah that would be too hard. just make up some racist bullshit and be done with it. that's what its like in their heads - a constant deluge of emotions they never trained themselves to control, so it rules them and then they make up reasons to justify it.

Actually, part of the problem is these nuts getting control of state school boards and such forcing their anti-science, pro-God, curriculum into the schools. For as much whining as the right does about how liberal the college system is, their control of pre-college schools in some areas is far more frightening...

True, the world has always had dumb, but the internet has allowed them id10t's to congregate, and encourage each-other to be all dumb and shit.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want it censored, I want them to post their nonsense, I love watching the world burn. I just need to monetize the crazy.
