Razer announces they are closing their online game store as of the end of
this month, which is less than a year after this
first openend (thanks
PC Gamer via Neutronbeam). A FAQ on the topic informs us that Games
purchased through the store were fulfilled through either Steam or Uplay, so
they will remain in the libraries of their customers. They also promise to
complete any outstanding preorders, and offer details on how elements of their
customer loyalty program will live on after the closure. Here's the
news:
We regret to announce that Razer Game Store (gamestore.razer.com)
will cease operations on February 28, 2019 at 0100hrs Pacific Time as part of
the company’s realignment plans.
