Replace the glitter and fart spray with Laserjet Toner and Bear Spray or go for the classic Bank Ink Dye Pack w/Tear Gas. Thumbsup

Only if the estate of Fred Astaire can sue Tom Jones immediately afterward.

Exactly. It's complete and utter horseshit.

Yeah I've seen them as well and I always have to wonder what kind of ghetto 'hood these people are living in that every fucker and his dog who walk by is a thief.

Fuck being Mr. Nice Guy. Put a metal box hooked up to a car battery inside it. Not quite sure how'd you camouflage it to make it look like an Amazon package however.

Well, you only need them to contact two points on the box. So, figure on them picking up the box on the lower sides and put the conductive strips there. They aren’t looking for something like that; the rest of the box can be an actual Amazon box. Set up a camera and wheeee!

I don’t understand why the thief’s face is blurred in these. Shame them online. This isn’t stealing to feed their family, it’s someone giving themselves a white elephant gift over and over. There is NO excuse for this behavior.

My neighborhood is cognitively invisible, to the point that I’ve lived in this city my entire life and had no clue it existed until I was looking to buy a house. It’s actually an intentional design AFTER it was built, as all but one incoming road was removed about 30 years ago. The one remaining road doesn’t APPEAR to be a neighborhood entrance, simply a few houses on a side road. It’s not an expensive neighborhood, it’s actually one of the cheapest you can find inside city limits. I think the smaller houses in a city of mansions probably don’t draw any interest.

I guess I should just be happy my neighborhood doesn't seem to have this problem. I've had $900 Aeron chairs delivered which sat on my door step 3-4 hours...

Ha, I saw that glitter bomb package video earlier. Although if it was me I would be much less nice to all those thieves. I think a cat piss explosion followed by squirts of pepper spray would be more appropriate.

My sister has a friend of hers that had some packages stolen, so she started emptying the cat litter into Amazon boxes and leaving them on her porch. Eventually the "packages" stopped being stolen.

I'm not sure what your point is, Redeye. That assuming there isn't a package theft epidemic I shouldn't call these people thieves? Or that because there are a ton of people in jail with overly long sentences from minor drug charges, that I shouldn't care about package theft?

One funny thing would be to put 150 lbs of weights in a sturdy box on the porch, and watch the thief try and abscond with it.

I hope his "Rip Taylor boxes" are covering the surface of Mars with glitter and confetti. Red is just not enough color.

Also plenty of fart spray so that when Elon Musk goes to Mars one day he'll get to be surrounded in fart for a loooooong time. lol (of course that probably doesn't actually make sense, but it's a nice thought)

You've watched a couple youtubes, what about all the videos of bazillions of packages that don't get stolen everyday. The guy said, "The police consider package theft is not worth their time", if that's true you're gonna see more people stealing boxes.

You can be breaking the law if you take it too far, though. Still, I totally feel you. A flash bang would be appropriate IMO. It's not like these thieves are starving to death. They're dressed nicely and driving fairly new cars.

Also, that guy should build and sell those things. He could make a mint.

Lastly, I love this guys solution to people peeing on his house.
