In spite of the announcement that
Fallout 76 goes live at midnight
tonight (tomorrow?), it is being widely reported that Bethesda's RPG sequel is
unlocked and ready to play right now in many territories.
PC Gamer
explains they were able to get in, even after hitting a coming soon splash
screen:
Fallout 76 has gone live on PC, seemingly everywhere in the
world. We've just logged into servers from the US west coast and the UK, and
we're seeing reports from players around the globe that they've been able to
start playing as well.
It may not appear that way at first—when launching the game, we were treated to
a menu screen saying "We'll see you for launch day on Wednesday, November 14",
but clicking and waiting a few seconds brings up the 'Play' menu, even in parts
of the world where it's still Tuesday.
Looks like Reclamation Day started a little early!
