Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. Extended

A tweet from Bethesda Game Studios announces the Fallout 76 beta, or BETA rather, is being extended due to some issues players have encountered. Word is a glitch in the game launcher required users to re-download the entire 47 GB client. DSOGaming digs into other problems with the beta, noting that 16:10 and 21:9 aspect ratios are not supported, and that game speed is tied to framerate, leading to undesirable results when framerates are unlocked, but there's no word on such issues. Here's the revised beta schedule:
We know some users have been forced to redownload the #Fallout76 B.E.T.A. and not everyone will be able to enjoy the game tonight. To make good, we’ll be extending the B.E.T.A. for everyone on Thursday, November 1, 2pm to 11pm ET.

Thanks for your patience. #ExtendtheBeta

Fallout 76 plays identical to Fallout 4 in every regard.
How so, Darks? All the writeups and video I've seen so far did not seem to be the case....

(I'm not in the beta and don't have any practical experience with it, so my question is genuine.)

Being honest myself, I had a lot of doubt about this game. but I have played every previous Fallout Game. Fallout 3 and 4 were good games. I liked them a lot and so was Vegas.

The combat beside all the hate mongers going off about the VATS system, which I for one very rarely ever used. So I cant comment on that part but I have seen it in action, and in all seriousness VATS has no place in an MMO game. it cant work well and thats been a lot of the bitching.

But the combat itself and looting in the game are exactly the same as the previous games. Leveling up is very similar.

Lack of NPCs well, that is a somewhat issue, but there are all kinds of other parts to the game that give you quest, being video or notes that you find. I've had no issues with how the game is being presented. its working just fine. and the exploration is there which is what I like the most about these types of games.

Going back to the NPCs, from my understanding and it does make sense since the game takes place 25 years after the bombs, there is hardly anyone around because its so soon after the war. Yes, this can be debated, but to me it does make sense in a way.

Personally, I think a lot of the hate stems from people just wanting to bitch about it because its multiplayer and not what they wanted. But for me, this is what I wanted, a Coop type Fallout game where I can explore and play it with fiends.

So, yes I was pleasantly surprised that the game worked better then I though it would and its been fun.
