Fallout 76 Trailer

A new Official Live Action Trailer for Fallout 76, promoting the upcoming post-apocalyptic RPG sequel. It's mostly live-action, at least, as we do not believe they secured an actual 30-foot sloth mutant or some of the other creatures seen in the clip. The soundtrack is the Beach Boys' ebullient 1966 pop hit Wouldn't it be Nice, as the era of juxtaposing violent imagery with serene music may never end. Here's word:
The Appalachian Wasteland comes alive in the official live action trailer for Fallout 76 - available worldwide on November 14th.

Reclamation Day, 2102. Twenty-five years after the bombs fall, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers—chosen from the nation’s best and brightest – emerge into post-nuclear America. Play solo or join together as you explore, quest, build, and triumph against the wasteland’s greatest threats.

Yep.

Wow, you guys play through your backlog in order form oldest first? That's got to be boring. New launches get priority over older, smaller releases to me, but w/es.

I'm cancelled my preorder when I saw the gameplay video and realized it was fallout 4 with multiplayer added. That's not even a good engine to add multiplayer to.

And, as the cherry on top, they pulled my beta code. It almost seemed vindictive. They basically had another shot at selling me on it, but removed that as a possibility.

Had an Apple II+ In a squadbay in Okinawa, Japan, fell in love with Wasteland post-apocalyptic rpg.

Loved Fallout 1,2,Tactics even replayed them which is rare for me. Adapted to FO3 and enjoyed FO3NV and FO4. I will not be buying or even considering FO76. Same reasons as others said, the taking control over the mods, the mp does not interest me ect..

Will wait for Metro Exodus and Wasteland 3

I've bought all the Fallout games 1-4 on release day. I won't be getting this one. It's even more of a let down than ESO.

Okay...you are entitled to love it or whatever but don't call a 60 dollar game a gift. That's ridiculous even if you get a tattoo on your forehead that says "Bethesda Fanboy".

Depends on how you look at it.

I bathe in all your tears. I can't wait to play this. The fact that it's different from the previous Bethesda Fallouts that I loved doesn't affect anything. The main Beth team can only work on one game at a time and they're working on Starfield. 76 is a gift on the side.

I saw ZiggyD play some of the beta and it was pretty underwhelming. There might be some appeal to the Fallout setting and world exploration for a while, but I think the novelty of that will be short-lived. Unless you are super dedicated to making your own fun, I think after that the game will just feel like the usual survival PvP mechanics in an old engine and won't really have anything to distinguish itself.

Cancelled my preorder a while back. It became obvious this is Bethesda's play into having full control of mods and player experience. It allows them to ignore everything that has helped make ES and FO games great over the last 20+ years.

Players want a new engine, deeper experience, and optional client multiplayer......and Beth just dicks it all up.

Yeah, I'm kind of with y'all.

I thoroughly enjoyed Fallout 1&2 and even Tactics though, as also mentioned, I'm no purist.

This game just...eh.

I can see where it might be enjoyable from a co-op perspective though...maybe? possibly? fingers crossed.

Canon-breaking lore retcons?

Did I see a super mutant in one video? Aren't those not supposed to exist yet..?

Yep. Worse still, in some media released on the game the Brotherhood of Steel is mentioned. Which, according to established lore from FO1 and 2, did not exist by this time after the war. And when they did form, were in a completely different part of the country. I love the Fallout universe and while this may be trivial to some, it kinda bothers me that the developers can be so flippantly dismissive of established lore.

They actually lore-explained that.

Whether you like that explanation is of course an entirely different matter.

I thought the combat was the only redeeming quality of Fallout4. That is if you played it as a straight up shooter, and just ignored the horribly dumbed down VATS system. With that said, I feel this game is gonna suck pretty bad regardless.
