Fallout 76 Trailer

A new Official Live Action Trailer for Fallout 76, promoting the upcoming post-apocalyptic RPG sequel. It's mostly live-action, at least, as we do not believe they secured an actual 30-foot sloth mutant or some of the other creatures seen in the clip. The soundtrack is the Beach Boys' ebullient 1966 pop hit Wouldn't it be Nice, as the era of juxtaposing violent imagery with serene music may never end. Here's word:
The Appalachian Wasteland comes alive in the official live action trailer for Fallout 76 - available worldwide on November 14th.

Reclamation Day, 2102. Twenty-five years after the bombs fall, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers—chosen from the nation’s best and brightest – emerge into post-nuclear America. Play solo or join together as you explore, quest, build, and triumph against the wasteland’s greatest threats.

Canon-breaking lore retcons?

Did I see a super mutant in one video? Aren't those not supposed to exist yet..?

Yep. Worse still, in some media released on the game the Brotherhood of Steel is mentioned. Which, according to established lore from FO1 and 2, did not exist by this time after the war. And when they did form, were in a completely different part of the country. I love the Fallout universe and while this may be trivial to some, it kinda bothers me that the developers can be so flippantly dismissive of established lore.

They actually lore-explained that.

Whether you like that explanation is of course an entirely different matter.
