Unless they're also going to port RDR1, is there any point in getting RDR2?
Who knows if we'll ever get RDR1 natively on PC.

Supposedly, the RDR1 code was a mess, not documented much, and they customized the RAGE Engine majorly for those 2 consoles at that time w/ that game. More or less, they made a RAGE Engine Fork for that game alone for the consoles.
They (Rockstar) would have to port RDR1 content over to newer PC-friendly versions of RAGE Engine (those games on that engine since Max Payne 3, more or less) and remaster the game entirely.
If they decide to remaster it or hopefully hire someone else whose good at remastering to remaster it, that might be the only way we get RDR1 PC natively. I would love to see this happen, to be honest.
Only other way we might ever seen RDR1 come here, is probably if Microsoft or Sony officially allow emulation of their older consoles (PS3 and X360) and those console games on the PC.
With Xbox Pass coming to PC and Sony PS Now on PC, maybe we'll see more old-console emulation on PC supported? Maybe they'll also allow some games to be sold alone as emulated on PC, so we can actually own them here?
I dunno, who knows. [shrug]
