The reality of Hillary Clinton as a boring centrist with no new ideas is just too much for them to contemplate.

The first 9 words of your last sentence are a completely rational reason to feel disgusted with Clinton. "Centrist" is a term that is truly just another piece of propaganda. The so-called centrists are almost completely working for big moneyed interests...be they the pharmaceutical industry, the big banks, or just the billionaire's club.

The very last thing this country needs is more power for the ultra-wealthy, slanting things further in their favor virtually guarantees literal rivers of blood. In this sense, Clinton -was- Trump...with a greater amount of subtlety and competence.
There are strands of truth here. I don't particularly like HRC. Yes, she is a professional politician with ties to corporations. There are no professional politicians which don't. However, there is no comparison between her and Trump. While she might shade an issue in favor of a particular industry, she is actually interested in helping people and solving problems. The only thing Trump is interested in is Trump. How to make himself richer, how to get more porn stars and playboy bunnies to sleep with him. No professional politician is perfect, it is not possible to be a politician well-known enough to be talked about here and not have a wart or two. But anyone not blinded by the right's propaganda would take HRC over Trump every time.

Until it gets fixed/changed, in the end it comes down to the Rs or the Ds. While both parties are similarly tied to corporate supporters, in the aggregate the Ds favor the general public far more than the Rs. Just look at the health care issue.

Truth is brutal. Prepare for pain.

You raise a very good point here. You have populists on the far left and far right who rely more on cultivating a following, rather than cultivating corporate donors. Then, you have the mainstream "centrist" politicians who rely almost entirely on corporate donors with blind party loyalty filling in the gaps.

On the far right, you have white nationalists and Evangelicals. These groups aren't interchangeable, but there is a lot of overlap because of the overwhelming whiteness of the Evangelical voting bloc. White nationalism is populism based on hate, for others, and for self. Evangelicals are your classic theocrats who want to sell out to the church instead of to secular corporations.

On the far left, things are fairly fragmented. You've got identity politicians worried about sexism, racism, etc. alienating the folks who are mostly concerned with economic inequality and believe addressing the latter will help solve the former. You've got radicals who want to tear it all down, you have others who think the system can still be made to work.

It makes sense I suppose that the side that wants to change everything disagrees on what to change, while the side that doesn't want as much change can generally agree on a status quo.

But yeah, in the middle, you've got a dangerously malleable ideology that is basically one-size-fits-all for cultivating corporate money.

It's one of the most pervasive long-term character assassinations in US history. Maybe of all time.

So it's no surprise that people will believe literally any lie told about Hillary or Bill, or even Chelsea. Most of the younger Trumpturds don't even remember a time before Hillary Clinton was a bogeyman for the conservatives. For these people, it's just received knowledge that the Clintons are comic book villains who kill people and run pedophile rings out of pizza places.

The reality of Hillary Clinton as a boring centrist with no new ideas is just too much for them to contemplate.

If he is charged with defamation in regard to the Sandy Hook incident i.e. saying the victims parents were 'actors' or any other example that could be deemed such, then good. I'm all for upholding the law. So far all major platforms have acted within 12 hours under 'community guidelines' though, not under a libel or defamation lawsuit.

Need to be careful silencing everyone whose opinion you don't agree with or at the very least handing over that power to major corporations. The problem with these sorts of torch and pitchfork parades is that some day in the future the political winds might turn against what you believe or hold dear. Be careful.

He said thousands, not millions, but still, bizarro world. It's amazing the rubbish these people have to come up with about a mediocre career politician to justify their own failings.

It's thousands today, tomorrow or next week, they'll be claiming millions. I just cut to the chase for him.

Nice. If you think like that about Alex Jones, I dont want to know what you think about people like Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, who actually killed hundreds of thousands of people. You must hate them like they raped your daughter.

In this, he's like most of the wingnut radio crowd. Not a one of them has ever demonstrated any decency...just hatemongering and hypocrisy.

The world gets a little bit better when each of them leaves. I see no reason to pretend otherwise.

With the rise of fascism in the west, it's getting harder and harder to believe that just having his shitty ideas get more and more airtime will "show people what a nut he is" and instead seems to just be recruiting more people to his side.

Yeah but it's not. Exposing it these days simply acts as a conduit for all the angry and disenfranchised in the first place. If Hitler were alive today he'd be splooging all over himself at how easy it is to get the lie out to the masses. Never forget, repeat it often enough and it becomes the truth. Point in fact, liberal democracy is dying the world over and rightfully so. They've pushed too hard for too long on everything and a reactionary response had to come sooner or later. A handful of liberal elites setting policy whilst completely out of touch with what's actually going on for the rank and file is nothing but all kinds of bad and bound to fail. It's why the EU is a dumpster fire right now. It's going to end with its dissolution or all the various governments going hard right - something that's already occurring everywhere.

You can't ridicule the silent majority. Pretty soon they become the loud and angry majority and all you can do is join them or run and hide from them. And allowing the worst of them, like this cockbag, a platform to espouse his shit simply to make a buck makes these corps even worse.

He definitely toes the line of free speech and libel, but it gets me really uncomfortable when guys like this are silenced. He's just someone with a lot of bad ideas that should be ridiculed, not silenced. I certainly don't want Google, Apple and Facebook deciding what should be censored and what shouldn't, our news and information streams flow too much through these companies to begin with. They should not have the power to censor what we consume on a whim- We may not loose any sleep over Alex Jones going away, but it sets a terrible prescident.

I mean, he's not silenced. These outlets were never the core of his media empire (shitty supplements are more or less the core by now, hawked to you by Milo Yiannapoulis!)

But, as Slick said, mocking Alex Jones for decades hasn't hurt him. The President of the United States has appeared on his show and called him a wonderful patriot! The President! Platforms have given him far more power than mocking has taken away.

The ironic thing is that Alex is loving this, he gets to fall on his sword so honourably to his and his viewer's eyes. Any (rightful) damage against him just plays into his narritive that the world is out there to silence him, that he is the only bearer of truth and "the man" is trying to shut him up.

Facebook, Stitcher, Youtube all banning his bitch ass won't hurt his viewer/listener numbers, and they will only become more fervent supporters of his bile and nonsense after seeing him "attacked" like this. It's information wars people!

Gotta hand it to them, these crackpot loonies are smart, just like the extreme Trump supporters, they paint themselves into a corner where to be proven wrong only hardens their resolve that the "system is against them".

He's made spurious and damaging claims with being able to substantiate any of them. That's the definition of slander/libel. He's going to lose hard on this. Then, the victims of this asshole should start going after his fanbase one by one until they're all so terrified of losing everything and/or going to prison they give up their asinine ways. That's how you put a stop to this madness because right now it's nothing but a free ride for all those assholes.
