High-cost lenders are much more aggressive in minority markets, the researchers say, which increases such borrowers’ exposure to these pricier loans. Prior research has found that members of these minority groups are less likely to comparison shop for mortgage products, which in turn increases the chances that they’ll wind up with the first offer they receive, and those offers tend to be expensive ones.

Sleeping while black at Yale.
Mowing while black.
Swimming while black.
Drivers less likely to yield for blacks.
Crossing the street to avoid a black man.

It's very telling that you came back to continue arguing this point without going out to do your own research. Took me about 15 mins to look up these stories.

Don't you guys forget that I have stated nowhere that there is no such thing as racism toward coloured people. I simply said that I disagree with the notion that there is no such thing as racism toward whites.
You replied to a conversation with Prez about doubting that minorities experience racism daily. I'm not really interested in having the "people are racist against whites too!" conversation.
Also this, "evidence of "structural and systematic" racism cannot be found" is nonsense.

I don't think that's true actually. "Every day"? Seems like a gross exaggeration.
Obvious disclaimer - Yes, racism against minorities is still prevalent in the US, and I'm sure virtually every one of them have experienced it in their lifetime.
Do they get called the N-word to their faces every day? No, but there are lots of little things they experience daily that you and I don't.
- Surveilled while doing routine shopping
- Police called while doing routine activities: swimming in public pools, mowing lawns, sunning on the quad at Yale, etc.
- People crossing the street to avoid passing when they are approaching
- Lower chances of getting jobs, loans, mortgages, etc.
- Having to pay more for these things or getting lower salaries.
- Getting pulled over by police at twice, five times, ten times the rate as everyone else.
- Offhand comments, "You're pretty for a black girl." or "You're not like most black guys."
And hundreds of other things.

I also said "The closest I get to being offended is when I think somebody is so incredibly stupid that I disagree with them greatly."
Maybe it's a semantics thing. If getting annoyed by somebody's stupidity is called being offended by it, then yeah.. I get the irony level.

Cry me a motherfucking river! I hope all them pussies cuddle up inside one huge fucking safe space and someone throws a bomb in it.
BOOM!
Fucking useless pussy generation. Die in a fire.
Oh, and could those companies please stop giving in to the hurt feelings of these thin skinned idiots? Get a thicker skin and shut the fuck up.

So I can't go through your post history and find something that offended you?
Or is it different, because like Cutter, things that offend you are ok to be offended by, but things that don't offend you are things only "pussies" are offended by?
Go ahead, go through my posts. I do not get offended. It's a bullshit emotion and one that leads to censorship. The closest I get to being offended is when I think somebody is so incredibly stupid that I disagree with them greatly. Like people who say racism toward white people doesn't exist, for example. Still, "that offends me" is something I cannot imagine ever feeling or saying.

You're as offended as most of the people who get labelled thin skinned idiots ... in a post you quoted while claiming you don't get offended.

This is more fun, then.
Most brown people in America experience racism every day. Hell, we have plenty of studies that show a resume with a "brown person" name will get less attention than a "white person name."
Tell me, what racism do you experience every day? Or even weekly? Do you get followed around stores? Do you get accused of crimes just for being in a place you're supposed to be in? Does anything happen to you, ever, that warrants being placed on the same level as things like this?

There's another GoG tweet scandal today...
But it's James Gunn getting fired from Guardians of the Galaxy for pedo joke tweets he made before he was famous.
Apparently Trumpers weren't happy with his political posting so they searched his old tweets and reported what they found and Disney fired him.

I wonder how many extra copies of Firewatch GOG will sell and if it'll make up for the lost sales they're going to see due to this fiasco.
