Website reveal that Blizzard is working on an unannounced Diablo project.
They now have job listings for
Dungeon Artist,
Diablo and
Environment Artist, Diablo, and each is listed under the heading of
"unannounced project." Both listings talk about working in the Diablo
environment, and come right out and say why right up top:
The minions of Hell are growing stronger...
We're working on a new, unannounced Diablo project.
I feel like this genre is burned out especially with PoE going strong. I wish they would open it up more, have a little exploration in there, bigger cities, more RPG etc. Instead it's just grind, grind, grind every second. Diablo 3 was good game, but as a Blizzard game it was very subpar, in my opinion. Shit, just make it a first person game; just do something, anything - different.
