Out of the Blue

Well, if yesterday is any indication, then spring has sort of skipped this area, for the moment at least. We've been rolling along with cooler weather for some time now, but yesterday the switch flipped, and it was suddenly 90+ degrees. What's nice is the April showers saying is especially true at the moment, as our area is awash with May flowers. Anyway, the forecast says we'll get more of the same weather today and tomorrow, so I guess I need to figure out where I stashed my shorts.

Cobra Kai is an excellent series! So much nostalgia, plus great performances from the leads.

i quite enjoyed it, much more than i thought i would. josh brolin brought a lot more to cutout supervillain #183 than i thought possible. didn't give two shits about the avengers, but it was funny and entertaining nonetheless.

Wow $8 million plus in one check, that might almost cover his medical bills! Yay for the US health care system.

I wonder if his insurance immediately dropped him upon seeing him get injured on the field?

I'm not bitter or anything.

People who do stuff like that always amaze me. They must have the patience of a saint - and a hell of a lot of free time - to do something like that. Beyond the physical assembly of it all do they use a program of some sort to decode the song which sends the requisite 1s and 0s to each component to play its part, or do they do that themselves - as in coding it all from scratch?

If you click on his page, you'll see a video of the guy. I think you have to be an ultra nerd to do this kind of thing and I know you aren't supposed to judge a book by it's cover but this guy fits the stereotypical perception.

The lyrics to that song actually fit the flat earth folks quite well:

they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny! A fly marrying a

you believe me?

Today, Youtube Red debuts a new series called Cobra Kai that takes place 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. The show stars William Zabka and Ralph Macchio who reprise their roles as Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso.

Same here, Blue, just a few thousand miles away from you. Spring and autumn happen within a week or two nowadays. It really is a shame but we got to learn to live with it.

My favorite thing coming out of a FE convention that I read the other day was the "Pac-Man effect" where, since we know you can travel in one direction and arrive at someplace in the opposite direction, what happens is that when you get to the edge, you teleport to the other side of the earth and keep going.

It astounds me at the more and more complex things people keep coming up with to try and justify FE.

+1 to Steelers ownership. Shazier's got a long way to go, but it was good to see him moving under his own power on draft day.
