Square Enix officially announces September 14th release date for Shadow of the Tomb Raider on all platforms. They planned on this announcement being a bigger deal, but someone went and spoiled the surprise. They also say Lara Croft's next adventure will be formally unveiled on April 27th, and in the meantime they offer a teaser trailer and a few details:

Square Enix® today announced Shadow of the Tomb Raider™ will be available in six months for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC/Steam®. All platforms will launch simultaneously on September 14, 2018.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be unveiled on April 27, 2018. Fans around the world can visit www.TombRaider.com for a chance to play the game and meet the developers at one of three exclusive reveal events.

Yep, should be fun. Crossing fingers. Day 1 for me. Although it's the latest "Thief" team doing this one and not the folks from the last two, is that right?
