Out of the Blue

Welp, it's snowing again outside the BlueTower, as Winter Storm Skylar is here, out third nor'easter in 10 days. I'm not sure if that's unprecedented, but it feels that way. The good news is that this storm seems far milder than the last two, around here at least. As I shovel, I'll take solace in the fact that Friday marks exactly six weeks since Groundhog Day, so apparently spring is upon us. I'll contemplate that as I'm thawing out.

True. All talk is cheap. Hence, I will be significantly more impressed if the Ds can actually manage to gain control of at least one of the bodies of the US Congress. Stay tuned...
Truth is brutal. Prepare for pain.

Apologies for the politics post, but Dem Conor Lamb appears to have won in PA-18, a district Trump took by +20 and Romney by +18. Unbelievable.
No apologies necessary. When you elect a piece of shit rich bully you should expect a little push back from the populace.

Buick can do whatever they want with their badging... in 40 years of being a customer of the car industry, I've never had a single moment of interest in any Buick. I'm guessing I'll make it to the grave with that streak in tact...

If I'd been the right age and had the money, a Grand National would've been pretty tempting back in the 80s.

I thought this Buick concept looked pretty good too...

It is a nice pic, but odds are the build quality would have negated the look...

For the sake of the children won't someone please spray some water on this DUMPSTER FIRE.
John McEntee, who has served as President Dump’s personal assistant since Mr. Dump won the presidency, was forced out of his position and escorted from the White House on Monday after an investigation into his finances caused his security clearance to be revoked.
Who knew that having a checking account in Moscow with regular direct deposits from the Kremlin was irregular.

I'm partial to 4-door sedans and have owned a late 90's Big Ugly Import Car Killer (Buick) Regal. But I thought some of their newer suv's were BFU.

Was a pretty neat article... I'm sure it's way more in depth than that 500 words but I find it interesting how guess and check medical science is.

Yeah, it was very cool. I'm grateful for all the very persistent people out there that are fascinated by this stuff and work on it, as I have no interest, but benefit greatly from it.
There is still room for improvement. I had a co-worker who needed a hip replacement, but this was a "young" guy. I'm not sure what the origin of the problem was but he was advised, and put off the surgery for years because the doctors said it wouldn't last his entire lifetime. I'm sure we'll get past that issue eventually...
