Out of the Blue

Tonight is the Oscars, where the Hollywood elite find out if all the training they did for the competition will pay off. I have seen exactly one nominee, which seems about par for the course for me, since I see most movies at home. So if I was the typical voter, Get Out would win in every category it's nominated in, and the other categories would go un-awarded. I guess that's why I'm not a member of the academy. I still do have a rooting interest, however, as I'd be happy to see Allison Janney, Sam Rockwell, and Frances McDormand take home trophies just because they are all personal favorites of mine.

What do you expect when the nitwit uses words like mangina, snowflake brigade, virtue signalling, flaccid etc.
Just a clueless angry white man doing the angry white man dance, and failing miserably.

What does the right have? The military, the one percent, the non-college educated white males, and the churches. That seems even more "not much else."

You forget the corporations and therefore the jobs are on the left, too. Having been around the country in or working with several fortune 100s, you rarely find a social conservative.

The left...they have universities, Hollywood, and Silicone Valley. Not. Much. Else.

It's socially acceptable to hate on the right and yet exactly as you say, they glorify things in a movie about the things they supposedly hate.

Did anyone say people should feel bad because of penises?

No. No one ever has. But people like you are fragile and hear that. You can't have a conversation without your emotions running wild and you feeling attacked. So there's no point to trying. You twist everything to feel like a victim.
Actually, yes, they did...

Kimmel's line about Oscar being the best man in town because *reasons* ended in the line 'and no penis'. Much to the delight of the crowd, the best man is a dickless one.

The same Jimmy Kimmel who did this edifying bit on the man show...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl3wioLmNNY

I particularly enjoyed the bit where they got the girls to lift their tops to the crowd of drooling men while bouncing. Classy!

So there you have it, pure 100% virtue signalling from a guy who has literally no credibility on the issue, and clapped at by a bunch of dishonest hypocrites. The Oscars in a nutshell. Let's give Kobe an Oscar as well while we're at it. I mean, he was only accused of actual rape, listen and believe wasn't a thing back then I guess?

And you, captain of the snowflake brigade, trying to say that it's bad to have feelings or be fragile? It's almost like you're saying that all males have to be a man, walk it off, be all macho and shit. But that's toxic masculinity?!?! Wtf, Beamer supports misogyny, you heard it here first folks... X D

Seriously, you're caught between being a mangina and a troll, but you're not good at either. You can't open your mouth without spilling your toxic masculinity all over the place, which sets you up as a hypocrite, and the only people you would actually offend with your "trolling" are your regressive circle jerkers. That just leaves you looking like a weak beta with flaccid rejoinders. G'luck with that!

it's sad to see OSCARS devolve from a celebration of movies, filmmaking and glamor of Hollywood , to being a platform for race politics. (1. there must be a disproportionate % of colored races in a major film. 2. women cannot be sexy anymore and romance is dead. Everything is harassment unless the woman is ugly and the man a supermodel 3. illegals are great people. Stats are a lie. )

Is that true?
America is 65% white. The world is even less than that. Were the people involved 35% people of color? From the pictures I've seen, no.

Women were absolutely dressed sexy last night, and glamorous, and the red carpet focus was on that. People loved it.

Romance is dead? I don't even know where you're getting that one, and would like you to explain.

Harassment unless the woman is ugly and the man a supermodel, what?

And what stats? Can you show me stats that say illegals are significantly more likely to commit crimes than native Americans? And someone claiming that illegals are all great?

So many hear things not being said, or being said by one moron on Twitter, and react violently against that, rather than thinking about what's being said and how it's not an attack on you, personally.

These Oscars were total boredom, although that water monster romance was a decent flick. All other winners are meh and the speeches gave me eudemonia.

Contemplating my life choice of watching this mess that is.

It's not. It's a propaganda piece meant to make Tonya Harding look like a victim instead of the scum she really was. J.E. Vader (No relation to Darth) was a reporter who covered the actual story at the time it happened and she claims the movie is nonsense and in her words a "portrait of an unrepentant felon"

Here's a perfect example of the sort of person she actually is:
See Here

TLDR: Her own publicist dropped her after she attempted to have any and all reporters who interview her sign an affidavit that they won't ask her questions about 'the past', at a $25k penalty should they do so.
