ESA Rebukes President Trump

The Entertainment Software Association has stepped into the fray with President Trump after his widely reported comments about immigration where the POTUS allegedly decried those who emigrate from "shithole" countries. Polygon has the following response from the ESA:
"America’s greatness is built on our diversity," reads the ESA’s statement. "The president’s repulsive comments undermine the fundamental values of who we are as a country. There is no place in our society for this type of backward thinking, and we condemn it in the strongest terms."

Then lets let all these bleeding hearts move to Haiti and tell us how great it is. Trump called Haiti a shithole, that's no different than calling Detroit a shithole.

Man, the media sure is twisting the weak minds of the populace.

How about someone calls YOU a shithole then ? How would you feel ?
This guy is the public voice of the USA, he's not there to pass a personal racist judgement on other countries.

The ESA is a little late, the whole world has given up on the dotus.

Can't wait for anyone to cluelessly defend the dotard yet again.

It's the racial subtext of Trump's comment that's the problem, so it's completely different. Besides, that's not really something the US president should be calling places in the US either, is it?

These are utterly corrupt countries with corrupt leaders where the people are treated horrendously by their own gov’ts, so much so that they risk life and limb to escape to the USA. Let’s ask those escaping what their opinions are of their beloved home countries. I believe you will learn a lot after you hear the countless not-so-pleasant things they have to say.

And where was all the media’s outrage with the vulgarity of Joe “big f#$%’n deal” Biden? Hypocritical, disgraceful media.

So screw the ESA. If the ESA President really gave a damn he’d speak out against the corrupt gov’t there in defense of the people, not give the gov’t tacit approval.

Not saying that is something Potus should say.. but ehm, Haiti is a failed state. Obviously it's not a pleasant place to be after the Earthquake 2010, from which Haiti still has not recovered and some nation researchers call it a defacto city state. (Port au Prince being the only part in Haiti where a "nation" even exists) and it's a downtrodden highly corrupt one at that.

So yeah, whatever Potus being dotus.

diversity in the context of the 18th to early 20th century. There's where the strength comes from.

Not migration as has been for the past 40 years.
if you ask these migrants (legal or not) whether their home country is a shit hole, they would most adamantly say YES.

before Trump, it was very easy to persuade the gov to accept them on humanitarian or charitable reasons.

The ESA is very confused, Diversity was the greatness of the country, but that was many generations ago. The problem now is, we cant afford to open the doors to every asshole who feels the need to come here and sponge off the system.

The system cant support all of these immigrants now. And on top of that they come here and want to change our way of life and its ripping the country apart at the seems.

Sorry, but we need to stop letting so many in and fix the issues within. The Ship is sinking and these idiots cant see that.

With all the talk over this, we're missing that Trump is hard at work on his "Fake News" awards (likely made with crayon), all the while screaming on Twitter that he isn't going to the UK out of protest for the bad deal Obama made on the new embassy.

Except, of course, it was Bush that made the deal. Has Trump corrected his own "fake news?" Will he give himself an award for it

100 years ago, back then America was underpopulated. And they work. Living of aid is shameful for them. And they were invited.

these days, every migrant (legal or not) wants to stay in the cities. And the illegals want social aid and political protection regardless of their status. And they are not invited.

(OK, the cities thing is true, but the rest synced up so well. Anyway, have you seen the rubbish that too many people in rural areas believe about migrants? Would you want to live there?)

Much easier to condemn your own President, huh? Everybody’s doing it. You’re so hip. Why don’t condemn corrupt governments that make these countries awful places to live? You don’t, because that would truly be brave.

This has absoutely nothing to do with the diversity of this country, you buffoon. The only backward thinking I see is from you, ESA president.

"truly be brave", right...

Why would the ESA comment about other countries' governments? That's not their job.

It's not about the countries themselves. Its about the people, since its about immigration. Ireland was a fucked up, abused, subjugated shithole country when a lot of Irish immigrants decided to leave for America at the beginning of the 20th century. Many places in Europe were not much better, however many of those people left for the USA and made it the powerhouse it is today.

So whether you are on the left or on the right, if you are American, Trump stopping immigration from "shithole" countries should be raising the heckles on your back.

Hell Im not American and the hypocrisy disgusts me.

Well, my first thought when wake in the morning is, “What is the ESA President’s on Trump’s latest tweet or comment?”

If ESA wants to speaks publicly about something, at least be intellectually honest, instead issuing feel-good platitudes. It’s a complete waste, like the #metoo campaign.

The real problem is ALL these people talk like this to each other off the record. but now the Democrap whiners report every little thing they can because their Marxist scumbag media buddies with make big headlines out of it.

And I agree with trump 100% these are shithole countries for the most part. just like 99% of the UN. Shithole dictatorships and communist paradises.

The only reason the democraps even want all these imports is because they are all so stupid that they vote democrap so they can load up on free everything while the democraps sell the USA down the shithole.

This is truth weather you millennial morons get it or not.

A real president should not have sayed "shithole countries", but this is Trump, not a president!

Also: Those countries obviously DO have problems - or why would so many try to flee the country?

So while there is some truth to what Trump said, it is mostly nowadays not what but HOW you say it. And Donnie is a dumb sledgehammer, where a clever scalpel would achieve easily much more than Donnie does.
...we yet realize that America's leadership and prestige depend, not merely upon our unmatched material progress, riches and military strength, but on how we use our power in the interests of world peace and human betterment.
